Around Wengen (1-4 hours)
The circular path leads to the beautiful view points at Mönchblick, Hunnenfluh, Leiterhorn
and Staubbachbänkli where one has marvelous views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau and the
Lauterbrunnen valley. Directly across from Staubbachbänkli the waters of the Staubbach waterfall
cascade over a 300 m (984 ft) cliff - face to the valley below inspiring J. W. Goethe more than 200 years
ago write a famous poem. This circular route can be interrupted at almost any point and the walk
back to the village lasts no longer than 30 minutes. Each of these viewpoints is in itself a
worthwhile excursion of approx. 1 ½ hours.

Männlichen - Kleine Scheidegg
The Männlichen (2230 m / 7316 ft) is reached by cable car in five minutes from Wengen.
From here the well - prepared path winds its way through flower - filled alpine meadows along
the mountain side of the Tschuggen and the Lauberhorn to the Kleine Scheidegg. The magnificent
panorama of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau is guaranteed to impress! The mountain walk to
Kleine Scheidegg, high above Grindelwald and the Lauterbrunnen valley lasts approx. 90 minutes

Wengernalp - Biglenalp - Mettlenalp - Staldenfluh
15 minutes after Wengen on the Wengernalp Railway we arrive at Wengernalp. Here, face to face
with the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, the most beautiful and imposing mountain range in the Alps,
our walking tour begins. Alpine meadows, full of beautiful, colorful and often rare mountain
flowers and the ring of the many cowbells accompany us into Biglenalp where the imposing
Jungfrau massif seems near enough to touch. The wild mountain stream which arises in the
Eiger glacier turns into the famous Trümmelbach further below. On the way back to Wengen over
the Mettlenalp the steep path leads us to the view - point Staldenfluh. Here we are fascinated
by the dizzy - making view over the vertical cliff - face to the Lauterbrunnen valley with the
famous Staubbach waterfall, 700 meters (2297 foot) below. The far end of the Lauterbrunnen valley Is it
your dream, to get away from life's daily stress and walk in a wild and romantic valley?
You can do so - at the far end of the Lauterbrunnen valley. From Lauterbrunnen the Post Bus
takes you to Stechelberg where the walk starts. On a well - prepared and sometimes steep
mountain path you reach Trachsellauenen and afterwards the Alps Schiirboden, Tal and Läger.
In a small space you see here the waterfalls Talbachfall, Holdrifälle and the Schmadribachfall
cascading over a high cliff - face. And high above this nature reserve in the Lauterbrunnen
valley - the shining peaks of the mountains at three and four thousand meters. Flora, fauna
and cliff formations - simply marvelous!

Isenfluh - Saustal - Winteregg
One of the best panorama mountain hikes. The route starts in Isenfluh, a charming little
mountain village, the path climbing slightly at first through lush meadows and shady woods.
Soon you reach the foaming Sausbach, along which the path climbs steeply to Sausmatten.
Back in the valley you can see Spaltenhorn and even further the Schilthorn. On the right side
the path leads up the mountain side to Marchegg. Here, a wonderful panorama is laid open before
your eyes. On the opposite side of the valley are Wengen , Männlichen and the majestic Eiger,
Mönch and Jungfrau. Further right, at the end of the valley the Ebnefluh, the Mittaghorn,
the Grosshorn and the Breithorn. The path descends slowly along the Bietenhorn to Winteregg.
There you con enjoy a well - earned drink on the terrace of the restaurant there - and the
Winteregg Panorama !
